Pilates Institute of America offers the best in teacher training, continuing education and distance learning for the Pilates, Fitness and Wellness professional. PIA takes Pilates training and continuing education seriously and understands the challenges in obtaining quality, cost effective and times efficient programs and has gone above and beyond current industry standards to offer its Pilates Curriculum.

Continuing Education and Renewals
All PIA courses offer a Certificate of Completion good for two years at which time the certificate should be renewed to prove that additional training and study has been completed in 24 months following initial Pilates training.

Following is a list of accepted continuing education workshops:
  • Pilates Lessons on the Apparatus from an authorized PIA instructor
    each 1 hour private offers 3 PIA CECs,
    each 1 hour duet (two students : one instructor) offers 1.5 PIA CECs,
    each 1 hour group class (three or more students : one instructor) offers 1 PIA CEC.
    Only PIA approved instructors will be accepted
  • PIA online workshops -- must take equipment workshops

  • PIA home-study workshops -- must take equipment workshops

  • Body Mind Spirit Conference
    Only Pilates Apparatus workshops will be approved –
    each 1 hour Pilates workshop/lecture offers 1 PIA CEC
    each 1 hour Pilates class offers 0.5 PIA CEC

CANCELLATION POLICY:  All sales are final, however transfers are allowed for a $49 processing fee.
SCHEDULE CHANGES:  PIA has the right to cancel or re-schedule any advertised workshop for any
reason. Students will be offered free transfers or refunds for any workshops cancelled by PIA.
